Chris McGlinchey is the CEO of SIXCEL leading all aspects of the business. A proven leader, McGlinchey has 15+ years of experience within the staffing industry. He is a visionary with a deep understanding of the complex issues impacting the industry, and passion for innovation, enabling staffing firms to drive towards operational excellence.
Understanding the dynamic nature of the staffing industry, McGlinchey founded SIXCEL with one vision – to drive technology and operational excellence in the staffing world using modern agile methodologies.
Prior to founding SIXCEL, McGlinchey served as a Senior Management Consultant to the CIO, CFO, and COO at ManpowerGroup North America. He played an instrumental role in major technology implementations, operational reengineering, and merger integration projects.
During his career, McGlinchey has served in a variety of leadership positions offering vast experience as a consultant with significant expertise in the management of large-scale business transformations and implementations. McGlinchey also held leadership positions at Accenture and Deloitte Consulting.
He lives in Boston with his wife and three very active young children to keep him busy on weekends.
As Executive VP, Steve is focused on aligning SIXCEL solutions to staffing company needs. Through the voice of staffing companies he designs, develops and evolves solutions to enable staffing companies to excel. In addition, Steve serves chief financial officer.
Steve is an experienced executive with extensive staffing industry knowledge, He has a penchant for identifying market trends and translating them into real solutions. Steve brings a unique combination of operational and financial acumen enabling the connection of client, candidate, staff, process and technology to actual financial results.
Steve draws upon his operational, sales, and financial controller experience from his 17+ years in the staffing industry. He has overseen the implementation and service delivery for a wide spectrum of clients; from large national accounts to Managed Service Providers (“MSP”). He led the design, deployment, and on-going improvement of process, measures, technology and training impacting thousands of staff, tens of thousands of clients, and hundreds of thousands of workers.
Steve brings a large and small staffing firm perspective through his direct roles and his experiences in partnering with smaller firms. He served as the executive sponsor of a nationally recognized supplier diversity program, recognized by WEBENC as Top Corporation Award more than any other staffing firm.
Steve is based in Milwaukee and spends his limited free time his with wife and two children. You can often find him at a local field or court coaching.
